Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 18, 2026
Welcome to the Extended Payment Interface (XPI). These Terms of Service govern the access and use of the XPI clearing nodes, API gateways, SDKs, and reference architectures by financial institutions, developer partners, and regulators.
1. License & Integration
Subject to compliance with regulatory standards and validation checkpoints, XPI grants participating commercial banks a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to deploy node daemons and integrate core banking portals with our APIs.
2. Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities
Each participating institution is solely responsible for verifying customer identity (KYC) and screening for anti-money laundering (AML) violations before committing transactional value to the XPI clearing rails.
3. System Availability & Service Levels
While XPI is built using high-performance permissioned DLT topologies designed for Istanbul Byzantine Fault Tolerant consensus, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operational availability in the event of third-party network carrier outages or systemic banking failures.
4. Liability & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the regulatory frameworks of our primary operating jurisdictions. All dispute arbitration shall be governed by international financial settlement guidelines.
